One Thing - 3/11/14

Yesterday it was 75 and sunny. The kids spent tons of time outside and wore shorts and t-shirts. Today, Silas ran to the window and exclaimed, "It's snowing crazy!" Big slushy flakes flew this afternoon. That's spring in Nebraska.

It was a beautiful day today! 73!!! Our extra hour of daylight combined with the warm temperature was perfect for a walk to a nearby park after supper.

One Thing - 3/7/14

Mike took a longer lunch today and took us all out to lunch at Pizza Ranch in Lincoln. The kids have really needed to get out. This was a great opportunity to do that! I have been craving Pizza Ranch buffet, especially their bacon cheeseburger pizza, for quite some time. My craving was satisfied. Mike got Jonah to try the bacon cheeseburger pizza. He later told me that the next time we go there all he will eat is that pizza. Yum! Oh, and another great thing about it was that Silas and Lydia were both free!

Just being silly this afternoon

One Thing - 3/4/14

I got to spend part of the evening with just these two. Mike had a meeting. And, some friends invited Jonah to join them to watch their 5th grade son in a concert at school. All of us had a great evening with what we did!  Each of the boys picked out a book to read before bed. I loved their choices. They were so fitting! Both picked out Little Critter books - "Just Me and My Mom" for Silas and "Just a Little Music" for Jonah.

Part of my daily routine is now practicing piano with Jonah. He is going a great job! 

Silas built this lego dog tonight. His creative mind comes up with lots of neat designs.

Tonight was bath night. Is there any way to keep Lydia's curls forever? I just LOVE them!
