One Thing - 1/12/14

What a day! Filled from start to finish with nothing out of the ordinary but full nonetheless. Sunday school, church, potluck fellowship meal, annual business meeting, not home until almost 3, then naps for the littlest two, tackling of the rest of the Christmas decorations (which was almost all of them), a quick supper, Mike leaving again for church, more un-decorating, and then bedtime. And, sadly, bedtime was met with resistance and disobedience resulting in no Legos at least through tomorrow. Once everyone was in bed, the biggest tree came down, furniture was moved, and boxes were carried downstairs. Now, while I am resting in bed, Mike is finishing up dishes and will then take care of a few more tasks before getting a chance to rest. We are tired. Tomorrow morning will come much too quickly. But, there is much to be thankful for, much joy in the busy and the hard and the mundane. Perhaps the greatest is God's great grace.
